The honorary Mouseketeer of the Democratic party is at it again. Though it has much to do with the company she keeps, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has always been a rebel in her own mind. A genuine freedom fighter.

The sometimes bubbly, other times raucous AOC, sat before her 8.3 followers on Instagram to relay her deranged thoughts concerning the riots at the Capitol building. She cited her many reasons for Donald Trump’s second impeachment, and while she was it tossed in a statement about how the once oppressed southern states have now been liberated.

Liberated from what? AOC told her fan club how multi-racial and multi-cultural grassroots organizations were the reason for the big win in Georgia. She said this was a clear indication of how “southern states are not red states, they are suppressed states,” and that it took a grassroots boots on the sidewalk campaign to turn the state around.

Addressing the rest of the southern states, she said, “The only way that our country’s going to heal is through the actual liberation of southern states. The actual liberation of the poor, the actual liberation of working people from economic, social, and racial oppression. That’s the only way.” Has she looked at California lately?

Little Miss Priss then called for the immediate resignations of Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley. She suggested they be replaced with their Democrat contenders who lost their races.

Her reasoning was that the two of them attempted to block the certification of President-elect Joe Biden so therefore should have no role in the government that is to be. They aren’t nearly Socialist enough for her taste.

It’s obvious how Ocasio-Cortez has been keenly tuned in to Stacey Adams as of late. If not for her New York accent one would think they are listening to Abrams ethnic southern drawl. After losing her bid for Georgia governor, Abrams took it personally. She felt she had been cheated by a system that catered to Georgia’s White Republican majority.

Abrams blamed her loss on the manipulation of voter rolls, orchestrated by her contender, Republican Brian Kemp. Since that time she has battled endlessly over what she considers the suppression of Black voters by Republicans in the state. Hence, the reason why AOC considers the southern states finally liberated from the chains they have been forced to endure. At long last, freedom has danced its way into their heretofore wretched lives.

John Gage of the “Washington Examiner” responded on Twitter to AOC’s ridiculous but entertaining broadcast by saying, @aoc says “the only way” the country can heal is for the “actual liberation of southern states” from being Republican states.

A great many of you reading this more than likely enjoy sipping sweet tea and eating peppered down grits with a fair amount of butter. You might even know of a local gas station that serves the best fried chicken gizzards in town. And at the end of the working day, you probably go home, eat dinner, and turn on the tube.

In light of all of this, we need to do a survey so we’ll know from here on out. Please let us know which part of your southern life needs liberating? We’re probably as curious as you are. We might even write an article based on your responses so please don’t let us down.
