Joe Biden is an embarrassment. He says whatever he wants. He sniffs the unsuspecting. And, he constantly mutters under his breath. He’s a ticking time bomb of dementia, and it’s only a matter of time before he says something that the media simply can’t explain.
And those who are in the White House have been cleaning up after him.
We’ve been seeing it since the moment that Biden took his oath…and even with some frequency while he was on the campaign trail. He’d say something. Then, his “handlers” would tell us that isn’t what he meant.
At the very least, shouldn’t Biden be able to say what he means without having an interpreter tell us otherwise? If he cannot effectively communicate, we need to just use the 25th amendment and get him out of office. We could save the country quite a bit of embarrassment that way.
This past Thursday, the president was at the CNN town hall. He vowed that the U.S. had a commitment to defend Taiwan in the event that there is any Chinese aggression. He even talked about mobilizing the National Guard.
Nope. The very next day, Press Secretary Jen Psaki said that there has been no change in policy and that the defense relationship is guided by the Taiwan Relations Act.
Apparently, it doesn’t matter what the president has to say.
Are we supposed to be listening to what Jen Psaki says and not what Biden says? It’s all getting so confusing…and if her job is to clean up the verbal diarrhea of President Biden, she should be getting hazard pay…especially since it’s happening so often.
“Any President has the ability to use the National Guard from the federal level,” Psaki said. And, she went on to say “We’re not actively asking them to do that, and we’re not actively pursuing the use of the National Guard on a federal level.”
Okay, cool. So, yet again, Biden has no idea what he’s saying. Why does the White House even let him in front of a camera anymore if Psaki is just going to walk back everything that he said the very next day?
A similar issue happened when military generals were asked about what happened in Afghanistan. Biden claimed that he didn’t receive any recommendations from his military advisers. Meanwhile, General Kenneth McKenzie, the head of US Central Command, was very quick to testify that he most certainly did advise Biden to keep 2500 troops inside of Afghanistan.
If there’s anything that we can identify at this point, it’s that Biden has gone rogue. He says what he wants and when he wants to say it. He points the finger at someone else if it goes badly. And, there’s always Psaki to clean up his mess. Perhaps she wipes the drool away right before the cameras turn on, too.
Perhaps the scariest part of all of it is that we have a president who might say anything. White House staff members have admitted that they worry and wonder what Sleepy Joe will say to the press when the cameras are rolling. Will he go off on tangents? Will he make a gaffe? Will he even speak in a comprehendible manner?
Psaki admitted to David Axelrod on his podcast that “A lot of times we say, ‘Don’t take questions.’ But he’s going to do what he wants to do because he’s the president of the United States.”
